Arlington Heights police received a report from Mount Prospect police about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday that a Mount Prospect resident was attacked and was the victim of a strong-armed robbery at Dryden Park, south of Dryden School near Dryden and Rockwell.
Police received a report that a male youth was jumped and beaten by a subject and that his cell phone was reportedly taken by the offender.
Mount Prospect firefighter/paramedics were called to the victim’s home in Mount Prospect, but the victim was not transported to the hospital.
Arlington Heights police and Mount Prospect police are investigating.
