Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 1:45 a.m. Sunday of a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of East Algonquin Road with the caller difficult to understand because of a language barrier. Police arrived to discover a strong arm robbery occurred.
Offenders knocked on the victim’s door and waited for him to open it. When the apartment door was opened, the offender grabbed a gold necklace off a victim’s neck and fled through the apartment complex.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, May 29th, 2011 at
1:43am.
The offenders were described as (#1) male/Hispanic 5’2″ 160 LBS, 20 years-old with short black hair, wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt; (#2) male/Hispanic 5’6″ 180 LBS, 20 years-old with short black hair, wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.
