Naperville police and firefighter/paramedics responded Friday, June 29, 2018 at about 10:42 p.m. car-motorcycle crash at Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive. The crash involved a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Honda Civic.
The driver and passenger of the Kawasaki motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. The initial investigation indicates that the Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling westbound Aurora Avenue approaching Fort Hill Drive when the Honda Civic, which was eastbound Aurora Avenue, turned in front of the motorcycle.
Due to the crash involving fatalities, members of the Naperville Traffic Unit trained in accident investigation and reconstruction responded to the scene to investigate the crash. During the course of the initial investigation, the intersection of Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive was closed and rerouted until approximately 4:12 a.m.
