The high in Kenosha, Wisconsin only reached 72.0°F at 1:53 p.m.
At 4:00 p.m. a warm front extended from North Carolina to North Dakota with high pressure over northern Virginia and low pressure to the west of Chicagoland. A ridge exists in the midwest, which is an elongated area of relatively high pressure. The jet stream is well north of Illinois — in Canada.
