Barrington Fire Department responded about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday to a fire in an attached garage at 27818 West Flynn Creek Drive — west of downtown Barrington. Firefighters from Carpentersville, Cary, East Dundee, Lake Zurich, Long Grove, Palatine, Palatine Rural, Rolling Meadows, Wauconda assisted Barrington on the box alarm. Bartlett, South Elgin and Nunda Township responded with tankers on a second alarm level box.
