Arlington Heights police completed a report about 4:20 p.m. Thursday for a burglary to vehicle in the 2100 block of South Tonne. GPS units were removed from both vehicles. A vehicle burglary was also reported from the same apartment complex parked in the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road. An unknown offender or offenders shattered the windows on a 2002 Black Jeep Liberty and on a 2002 Silver Kia Sephia.
The vehicle burglary on 2100 block of South Goebbert Road is reported to have occurred on Saturday, April 30, 2011 between 9:15 p.m and 9:44 p.m. The vehicle burglary on South Tonne is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 4:15 p.m.
A high number of vehicle burglaries have been reported in the area of South Goebbert Road, and East Falcon Drive in recent months.
