Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:55 p.m. Thursday of a stolen semi-trailer truck cab truck that was parked near Country Lane and Old Arlington Heights Road. A 1998 Freightliner Century Class 120 truck valued at $13,000 was reported stolen.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 8 p.m. April 20 and noon April 21, 2011.
Police on the beat reported that they had previously ticketed the truck for a parking violation.
Arlington Heights police are investigating. There was no report of a vehicle removed from that area in the police tow log.
