Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:20 AM Saturday to a hit-and-run with personal injuries in the 100 block of North Smith Street — at Smith and the Union Pacific/Metra railroad tracks. Police received a report of a person hit by a silver Infinity QX4. The vehicle’s driver fled the scene in the vehicle.
The vehicle is reported to have front, left fender damage.
One victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Palatine Fire Departmet firefighter/paramedics. Palatine police are investigating.
