Arlington Heights police responded about 5:25 AM Monday to a report of a check for well being/suspicious incident in the 1400 block of Woods Drive. Police received a report that a male and female asked for a ride, saying their car had broken down. The male driver did not offer the couple a ride, but the couple kept trying to get in the car anyway.
The couple was described as a male/white and female/white in their 20’s. The male was wearing dark hoodie and jeans. The female was wearing pajamas and a light-colored hoodie.
The couple was last last seen on Rand Road walking toward Hintz Road.
Arlington Heights police checked the area. No word on any police contact with the couple.
Air temperature at 5:25 a.m. was 21°F.
