Naperville police responded about 5:15 a.m. Sunday to a burglar alarm at the Apple Store, 120 West Jefferson Avenue. Police responded immediately and discovered the front glass doors and windows shattered, as they did last September.
Security video shows that two offenders entered the store wearing ski masks and gloves. They were carrying tote containers that were used to transport and remove computer equipment valued at $30,000.
On September 22, 2010 Naperville police officer discovered a broken glass front and burglary had occurred at the Apple Store, 120 West Jefferson Avenue about 4:49 a.m. Wednesday. The Apple Store in downtown Naperville was burglarized with about $24,000 in merchandise reported stolen. The store has a burglar alarm and video surveillance, but there is no word from police or store officials on the result or usefulness of those security systems.
On October 10, 2010 three suspects involved in a purse theft and credit card theft at a nearby restaurant, went on a shopping spree of $10,000, using the stolen credit card to purchase merchandise from the Apple Store and a Target store.

Naperville Police Department are investigating the Apple Store burglaries. Any citizens with information about the burglaries are urged to call the Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6666 or Crime Stoppers at 630-420-6006.
Callers to Crime Stoppers can choose to remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in the burglaries.
