Gas prices are falling today after Chicago was marked as having the highest gas prices in the nation. The Lundberg Survey has found the price of regular gasoline has risen about 9 cents a gallon over three weeks to $3.08.
The price of mid-grade gasoline was $3.22 a gallon and premium was $3.33 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday. The U.S. average for diesel was $3.36, up 7.18 cents.
The highest gas price in the country was recorded in Chicago at $3.35 a gallon. The low was $2.73, was in Salt Lake City, Utah in a survey was completed Friday.
