Arlington Heights police responded about 11:45 PM Tuesday to a report of a loud party at the Motel 6, 441 West Algonquin Road. When police knocked on the door, they heard the toilet flush several times. A foot puruist was on after four males/whites or Hispanics and a female/white or Hispanic, all about 17 or 18 years-old, jumped off of a second floor balcony and took off running south across Algonquin Road. Police were searching behind the Doubletree Hotel and behind the Denny’s.
Police rounded up all five subjects just after 12:05 a.m. Wednesday in a south parking lot between the Doubletree and the Mitroff building.
Police transported two adult males, one juvenile female, one juvenile male, and one subject not specfied to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
One of the subjects required transportation by paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital for an existing medical condition, and was released later and returned to police custody at the police station. Arlington Heights police are investigating. The subjects were arrest at least on criminal damage to property charges.
