Support sought for 10-year veteran, father of four young children
A fundraiser is set for Monday night (Dec. 20) for a 10-year officer with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office who recently underwent an extensive heart procedure, only to learn that he is in need of a heart transplant.
The event for Officer Nick Paolino, of Chicago, is set to take place beginning at 4 p.m. Monday December 20, 2010 at Moretti’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 1645 W. Jackson in Chicago.

A father of four young children, many officers across law enforcement agencies are banding together to put on an event to help his family pay medical and other bills while he is unable to work.
Donations will be accepted at the door and all proceeds will go toward Officer Nick Paolino’s expenses.
