Palatine police responded just before 11:30 PM Tuesday of a hit-and run crash in the 700 block of Stuart Lane in Palatine. Palatine police alerted area police departments that the offending vehicle was a silver Acura that was last seen in the area of Rohlwing and Kirchoff Road.
Apparently a witness was following the car and spotted the offending vehicle again at the Algonquin Office Center, 3315 Algonquin in Rolling Meadows. Palatine police and Rolling Meadows police responded to the location. Police had one in custody just after 11:40 PM.
No injuries reported in the hit-and-run crash. Palatine police are investigating.
