Arlington Heights police responded just after 5:40 PM Friday to a report of a shoplifter detained at Mariano’s Fresh Market, 802 East Northwest Highway. Police arrested a 14- year-old shoplifter that was cooperative while detained by store security personnel. One juvenile was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
