Cold temperatures are suspected in three deaths in Chicagoland during this cold snap — two homeless men in Joliet and a man found in his garage on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
Friday afternoon, the frozen body of Thomas G. Sands was found in a field in the 100 block of S. St. Louis Street.
About 9 p.m. Sunday, Robert Mullins, 44, was found dead under snow outside a vacant former Cub Foods grocery store in the 200 block of S. Larkin Avenue in Joliet.
Another man, his identity not released, died on Chicago’s northwest side. He was found in his garage.
