The United Kingdom Met Office has issued heavy snow warnings for London, the South East, East Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, the East and North East.
The Met Office also warned of widespread ice on roads across all of England.

Sweden
Sweden is expecting unusual severe cold, according to the Swedish weather agency. Temperatures across the country, with exception for the most northern parts, will be between seven and ten degrees Celsius below normal. In Stockholm, temperatures are expected to fall to minus -15 degrees Celsius (5º Fahrenheit) on Wednesday and Thursday.
A cold snap is also affecting Belarus, Lithuania, Western Russia, Northern Ukraine, Eastern Poland
