Arlington Heights police responded about 3:40 PM Wednesday to report of a battery in progress at the downtown Metra station, 45 West Northwest Highway. Police received a report that a male was kicking a female. The offender was described as a male/white about 40 years-old, wearing a brown jacket. A witness to the battery believed the male was intoxicated. The female victim was wearing a white shirt
One adult male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
