Two tornadoes in Illinois, one in Indiana and one in Wisconsin
A tornado touched down near Peotone in Will County, ripping off the roof of a home and slightly injuring two teenage brothers Tuesday morning. The Peotone tornado, classified an EF2 torndado also blew down a line of utility poles near the corner of Will Center Road and Beecher Blacktop Road. A second tornado hit Elburn on Tuesday morning, causing widespread wind damage that blocked some roads. A third tornado was also confirmed in Porter County, Indiana.
NWS confirms tornado in Racine County, Wisconsin
The National Weather Service has confirmed the storm that caused two minor injuries in the Racine, Wisconsin area was a tornado. The tornado was rated an EF1, with winds in the 86 to 105 mph range. In Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin several businesses were closed because of the weather near Highway 11 and Oakes Road.
