Arlington Heights police and firefighters responded about 4:20 p.m. Sunday to a report of youths lighting a couch on fire behind the Salvation Army location, 250 East Rand Road. Small items were on fire outside. Firefighters extinguished the fire immediately, and police searched for the youths after they fled the area.
