Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:55 p.m. Saturday that a wallet was stolen about 1:30 p.m. Saturday while an Arlington Heights resident was shopping at either Trader Joe’s or Marshalls. The resident reported that an offender ran up charges exceeding $5,000 by the time the owner of the wallet noticed it was missing. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
