About two dozen people have been treated for illness during a rally featuring President Obama at Bowie State University. The people because dizzy and started fainting — reportedpossibly because of warm weather. People were densely packed shoulder-to-shoulder at an outdoor venue. A triage center was setup inside the school gymnasium.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Sen. Benjamin Cardin also spoke at the event. Obama was speaking to rally for Maryland Democrats and incumbent Gov. Martin O’Malley leading up to the November elections.
