Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday that one male subject approached a nine-year-old male in the 2600 block of North Greenwood and asked him a few questions. He also asked the boy to get inside his van. The boy refused and the subject in the van drove away. The van was described as light blue. The suspicious incident is reported to have occurred at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
