Arlington Heights police responded about 1:20 p.m. Thursday to a battery in the 1100 block of East Algonquin Road. A victim with facial injuries about 60-years-old was reported at the scene with two offenders that fled the area. The offenders were described as two male/Hispanics wearing all black.
Police found one of the suspects at Colonial Green apartments. The suspect was injured with cuts on the face and arms.
Paramedics were called for the victim and for the suspect that was found at about 1:55 p.m. Police were concerned that the second suspect was also injured. No word if police found the second offender Thursday afternoon.
