Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:00 p.m. Monday that a man was beating his 15-year-old daughter near the corner of Sigwalt and Dunton Avenue. Paramedics were called for the daughter, who received an injury to the head. One male was arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
The injured female/teen was helped by police and met with firefighter/paramedics about 100 feet south of Sigwalt Street on Dunton Avenue.
