I just can’t figure this out. I am a 28 year old man, great job, and I am in terrific shape. I run, lift weights, and I think that I am a generous guy. I always treated women very well. I even bought an old girlfriend a $740 ring after 2 months! My new neighbor moved in 4 months ago, and would always saunter over to my balcony to say hi, or just hang-out. She was ALWAYS the first to initiate contact, and I actually kept count (11.) I think she is a 9, and I was planning on asking her out very soon. I was just breaking up with Jeanette, so I didn’t want to confuse the issue. I stopped by her place just recently, and she was visibly upset, and just asked me to leave. I didn’t see anyone there, but later that day I asked what was wrong. She told me that “I don’t like you stopping by unexpectedly!” I was shocked, especially after she thought it ok to do to me. Confused!

I know—I could say WOMEN here, but I believe there is more to it than meets the eye. Perhaps, this new GIP (girl in pursuit) actually was partially involved in a relationship herself, and “made up” with her bf. She used the old “make an appointment” line to keep you at bay. Some people like their privacy, but don’t have a problem abusing others-yes it’s mischuge. I would play it cool with the GIP, and let her deal with her own problem. You did nothing wrong, so don’t feel bad. BTW–what’s up with the $740 ring after 2 months–That is totally inappropriate, don’t you think? You might have scared her away, not to mention burning up $740!!
