Arlington Heights police responded about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a purse theft in the 1500 block of North Dryden at the Amazing Goodwill Store. The offenders were described as a juvenile and mother. The juvenile was wearing a gray shirt and shorts. The adult was described as a female/white with a lip ring and a black shirt. They were in the parking lot after taking a purse and Ug Boots, and then fled in a silver Ford Contour, eastbound on Rand Road.
Unknown if the purse theft was a retail theft or theft of a customer’s purse.
