Kiefer Sutherland, 40, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Tuesday in West Los Angeles.
Sutherland, son of actor Donald Sutherland, was arrested early Tuesday. Police stopped Sutherland at about 1:10 a.m. in West Los Angeles after he allegedly made an illegal U-turn.
A breath test found him to be over the legal blood-alcohol limit, and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and then released on $25,000 bail. He is due to appear in court on October 16.
The DUI arrest Tuesday is “24” star Kiefer Sutherland’s fourth traffic-related arrest.
Kiefer Sutherland plead guilty in 1989 and 1993 to reckless driving charges, and in 2004 to DUI with a blood alcohol level over .08 — the legal limit in California. In the 1989 case, Sutherland was charged with carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, but both charges were dismissed.
