Arlington Heights police received a report of a man punched in the face at the Walgreens at Northwest Highway and Dryden about 3:05 p.m. Monday.
The offender was described as a male/white, wearing a blue coat and sunglasses.
The offender was known by the victim or someone at the scene. Arlington Heights police officers caught up with the offender at Recreation Park, just north of Kensington Road in Arlington Heights. One in custody at 3:35 p.m. Prisoner transported to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters.
