Arguments on health care reform took to the streets in Arlington Heights when Representative Mark Kirk (R-IL) opened a second session for his Health Care Town Hall at the Arlington Heights Heights Village Hall at the John G. Woods Municipal Campus in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Pro-Obama health care reform citizens chanted on the south side of Sigwalt Street, while opponents of Obama’s health care reform held to the curb on the north side of Sigwalt Street. Most of the concerned citizens were waiting to attend the second session at 4:30 p.m. after they discovered that the 3:00 p.m. session was closed due to a capacity crowd.
Bull horns, whistles and chants were heard most of the afternoon as Arlington Heights police officers blocked Sigwalt Street, east of Arlington Heights Road and watched over a peaceful, but boisterous crowd.
