Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:20 a.m. Saturday that a man walked up to the front door of a home and turned the door knob. The resident of the home near Hintz and Arlington Heights Road described the person as a male/white in his late thirties, about 5′ 10 with a slight build, blond hair; wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes and a gray sweatshirt.
The resident of the house spoke briefly to the man, and he left. Police checked the area, but did not find the man fitting the description.
