The West Chicago Police Department announced Friday, February 28, 2025, that investigators are are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an armed robbery suspect.
West Chicago Police Officers responded at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 to a report of an armed robbery at Amigo Discount, 543 Main Street in West Chicago.
West Chicago police officers were informed that the suspect had fled the scene. West Chicago police officer searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
Two images of the suspect were provided by the West Chicago Police Department, but a complete physical description was not provided. The West Chicago Police Department did not indicate what kind of weapon was implied or displayed, the direction of travel of the suspect after the robbery, or whether a vehicle was connected to the suspect.
