Chicago police, firefighters and paramedics responded late Friday afternoon to a report that a man was stabbed in the Harold Washington Library in Chicago’s South Loop.
Chicago police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 4:40 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, to a report that a male victim, age 26, was approached by an unknown female offender, who produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the hand in the Harold Washington Library, 400 South State Street in Chicago. The victim was transported to Northwestern Hospital, and was initially reported in good condition.
There are no offenders in custody, area detectives are investigating, according to the Chicago Police Department.
