
In February 2025, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) provided the Huntley Police Department with information that was obtained from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children data system indicating the possible possession of child pornography by an unidentified internet subscriber. Upon receiving this information, the Huntley Police Department’s Investigations Division conducted an investigation that led to the identification of the alleged offender, Jordan K. Hein, age 25.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Huntley Police officers served a search warrant at a residence in the 10300 block of Sawgrass Lane where Jordan K. Hein resides. Investigators from the Office of the Illinois Attorney General assisted Huntley Police Department Detectives in the examination and analysis of several seized electronic devices. Jordan K. Hein was taken into custody based on evidence gained during the search.

5 counts of Child Pornography Possession of Visual Reproduction on Computer /Video – Victim Under 13, a Class 2 felony.
He was transported to McHenry County Jail pending a detention hearing.
The investigation is still active, according to the Huntley Police Department.
