Northbrook police responded about 3:03 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025 for a burglary charge Warrant Service regarding a commercial burglary in the block of 500 Linberg Lane in Northbrook, IL.
The warrant resulted from a burglary investigation by the Northbrook Police at a commercial audio-visual electronics business on Linberg Lane.
On July 20, 2021, the Northbrook Police Department investigated a burglary that occurred at the electronic store. The owner stated one of his employees, Michael J. Harrison, allegedly stole audio speakers from the store and placed them behind the business in the garbage — with plans to pick up the speakers later.
The speakers were valued at $9,999.96.
An arrest warrant was issued for Harrison’s arrest for burglary. Almost four years later on February 27, 2025, Harrison, whose last known address was in Chicago, was arrested on Northbrook’s arrest warrant.
The Cook County Circuit Court pre-trial hearing was later in the day, Thursday, February 27, 2025.
