Naperville police responded about 4:02 pm. Saturday, February 1, 2025 to a report of a retail theft in progress at the ULTA Beauty store located at 2707 Aurora Avenue in Naperville.
A suspect was allegedly observed concealing merchandise in his clothing prior to fleeing from the store without paying. An employee called 9-1-1, and provided the Naperville 9-1-1 dispatcher with a detailed description of the suspect.
Officers arrived on scene and searched the area, locating a subject matching the description inside a vehicle. Officers made contact with the subject and two other occupants inside the vehicle. An initial Naperville police investigation recovered over $13,000 worth of merchandise, allegedly stolen from the ULTA Beauty store.
Felony charges were approved, and all three suspects were transported to the DuPage County Jail.

The ULTA Beauty store is located near the intersection of Route 59 and York Street in northwest Naperville.
