Arlington Heights police recently received a report of a residential burglary in the block of 1300 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a single-family home, entering the residence through the garage or kitchen window, and stole personal property.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 a.m.
The police department 1) did not specify whether the residents were home and/or sleeping at the time, 2) did not provide details regarding what day the burglary was reported, and 3) did not provide any information or awareness regarding whether the residential burglary was being investigated for a connection with the suspicious incident below.
A suspicious incident was reported in the block of 1300 North Arlington Heights Road about 7:50 p.m on January 22, 2025. According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, the complainant reported two unknown subjects were looking in her house. The suspects were described as male subjects between 25-35 years-old wearing jackets.
Also, two police SUVs with emergency lights activated were parked on this block on Arlington Heights Road about 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, and police officers appeared to be working inside a house at that time.
