Schaumburg police received a report about 3:00 PM Friday November 29, 2024 of a residential burglary in the block of 2400 Plum Grove Road Schaumburg, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized an apartment unit on the first floor at the Quin Luxury Apartments on Plum Grove Road north of Algonquin Road in Schaumburg.
A resident on a first floor apartment reported that $800 was missing from the apartment unit.
All apartment unit private doors are accessed by key fobs provided to residents. Metal keys are not used by residents in the 4-story apartment building.
The crime could have occurred between Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 12:00 AM and Friday, November 29, 2024 at 12:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 696:00 (hours: minutes) or 29 days. However, the resident suspects the crime occurred during the first week of November 2024.
A police report for a criminal complaint was filed, and Schaumburg Police Department is investigating the case.
