Ballistic missiles launched from Iran have entered northern Israel Tuesday night, October 1, 2024, but initially no damage reports were available.
A second attack of missiles occurred about 7:52 p.m. Local Time/GMT +3.
Reporters from multiple news sources reported seeing Israel’s iron dome in action, and heard air raid sirens sounding. An Al Jazeera English report indicated at least on missile was a direct hit on Tel Aviv.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that missiles were launched from Iran towards the State of Israel.
Yesterday, air raid alerts in Israel occurred when rocket and missile attacks arrived from Hezbollah in Lebanon, where Israel began limited ground operations against Hezbollah. Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire targeted southern Lebanese villages where Hezbollah were located, and where people were ordered to evacuate.
The previous attack from Iran occurred in April 2024.
