Police, firefighters and paramedics from Mount Prospect responded about 9:40 PM Thursday, September 12, 2024 to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle with injuries in the block of 900 South Elmhurst Rd. in Mount Prospect.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics received a report that a motorcyclist hit a tree.
Police were first on the scene, and reported the motorcyclist was not conscious and not breathing.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital with Advanced life Support for life-threatening injuries.
An extended crash investigation is underway, and Elmhurst Road is closed in both directions between Sunset Road and Golf Road.
