Two Delta Air Lines passenger jets crashed while on the ground at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Tuesday morning, September 10, 2024.
The starboard wingtip of a Delta Air Lines Airbus 350 aircraft struck and ripped off the Vertical Stabilizer on the tail of another smaller Delta Connection Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Tuesday morning.
There were passengers on board both Delta Air Lines passenger jets, but initially no injuries are reported.
Both aircraft were scheduled to depart around 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
The Airbus Flight DAL295 was scheduled to depart for Tokyo (HND = Haneda Airport).
The CRJ900 Flight DL5009 was scheduled to depart for New York (JFK).
