A Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin man was located with in about 90 minutes after a search involving Illinois and Wisconsin law enforcement agencies.
A missing 59 year-old male, of the block of 12100 43rd Avenue in Pleasant Prairie, and wearing grey sweatpants and a black shirt, was located safe in a wooded area in the area of Interstate 94 and the Illinois-Wisconsin border. The man, who has been reported missing previously, was located Lake County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Loki.
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department notified the public about the missing man, including a photo of the man at 9:52 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024.
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department announced their deepest thank you to all the first responders that assisted in the search and successful locating of the missing man.
“Had it not been for the assistance of both K9 & Drone, it is unknown how long it would have been until he was located. The missing adult male was evaluated by EMS and transported to an area hospital for evaluation.”
