Police officers from Arlington Heights responded about 10:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 to a report of a domestic battery in the block of 400 Circle Hill Drive in Arlington Heights.
Following an initial investigation, Joshua R. Green was accused of the offense of Domestic Battery (0486), and charged with misdemeanor Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm [720 5/12-3.2(a)(1)].
According to court records, Joshua R. Green knowingly and intentionally caused bodily harm to his girlfriend, who is also a household member of the defendant. Joshua R. Green on Sunday, June 30, 2024 and Monday July 1, 2024, allegedly repeatedly struck his girlfriend’s body, causing evidence of injury. Allegedly, he also broke a dishware plate on a part of her body and caused evidence of an injury. He is also accused of allegedly throwing his girlfriend against a wall, causing evidence of injury.
Joshua R. Green was released after a Detention Hearing on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Courtroom 207 at Cook County Circuit Court Rolling Meadows. Green was not held in Cook County Jail.
