Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 to a report of a physical disturbance or people fighting in the front yard of a home in the block of 1200 East Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights.
Eastbound Euclid Avenue was delayed during rush hour traffic due to police and EMS activity at the residence across the street from the Clerics of St. Viator property.
Paramedics evaluated two people, but there were no EMS transports from the residence.
According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, Rachel R. Sharp, age 24, of Louella Avenue in McHenry, Illinois was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery (720 5/12-3.2).
At a court hearing on Friday, June 21, 2024 around 9:00 a.m., Rachel Sharp was ordered not to contact the complaining witness; and was ordered to stay away from the work, home and school locations of the complaining witness.
No Electronic Monitoring was ordered for Rachel Sharp.
Also, a shirtless male with long, light-brown hair was handcuffed and transported from the scene in an Arlington Heights Police Department SUV, but there was no notification from the police department that the male faced any charges connected to this incident.
