Niles police officers responded about 9:00 AM Wednesday April 3, 2024 to a report of a vehicular hijacking at Golf Mill Shopping Center, Golf Road and Milwaukee Avenue Niles, Illinois. Police received a report that an offender carjacked a blue 2019 BMW X5 — possibly on the Golf Mill property near Greenwood Road and Lyons Street.
The carjacking offender was described as a male/black, age 20, thin build, wearing black jeans.
The carjacked vehicle and offender were last seen southbound on Greenwood Avenue south of Golf Road.
Initially, the precise location of the carjacking at Golf Mill was not confirmed; however, the crime may have occurred at the southwest corner of Golf Mill property near Greenwood Road and Lyons Street in Niles.
