The description of a suspect that robbed the Shell gas station at Arlington Heights Road and Rand Road was released Thursday morning, February 1, 2024.
An employee at the Shell gas station convenience store reported that an unknown subject stole money from the cash register, while threatening to shoot the employee with a gun. The subject was described as a black male in his forties, approximately 6 ft. tall, weighing 200-230 pounds, and wearing all black clothes.
Arlington Heights police responded about 9:45 p.m. Monday January 8, 2024 to an armed robbery at the Shell gas station 2113 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a male offender walked into the gas station store and demanded money in an armed robbery.
The offender was described only as big and tall, wearing a black coat with a hood. The hood covered the offender’s face, and the offender turned his face away from cameras located inside the store.
Initial information did not provide whether a weapon was displayed or implied.
