Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 2:03 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries at Waterman Avenue and Kensington Road in Arlington Heights.
Paramedics on Ambulance 1’s crew upon arrival, reported one vehicle upside down on the driveway with everyone out of the vehicle.
Minor traffic delays occurred, predominantly eastbound Kensington Road, and Waterman Avenue in both directions, since it was completely blocked.
Three teen girls were in the SUV that rolled, and a teen boy was in the white sedan.
No EMS transports were reported.
There have been a high number of crashes at the intersection of Waterman Avenue and Kensington Road, and this might be caused by high traffic due to motorists using Waterman Avenue as a cut-through from Northwest Highway to Euclid Avenue or vice versa.
There was an earlier rollover crash at Waterman Avenue and Kensington Road on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at about 7:42 p.m. No serious injuries occurred from this earlier crash either.

Also, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, Arlington Heights firefighters and paramedics worked at the scene of a crash with injuries at Kensington Road and Waterman Avenue with minor extrication work needed to free one of the motorists. The two vehicles involved in the crash did not roll, and both sustained moderate damage in the intersection crash. A second ambulance was assigned at the June 15, 2023 crash, and two adult female patients with apparent non-life-threatening injuries transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
Also, a two-ambulance response to Waterman Avenue and Kensington Road occurred on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in a crash that involved a taxi at about 1:33 p.m.

The Speed Limit on Kensington Road is 30 MPH, according to Google Maps Street View images captured August 2019.
The intersection is controlled by stops signs for motorists in both direction on Waterman Avenue.
