At Chicago Executive Airport near the north side of Arlington Heights the air temperature reached down to about 36°F around 6:52 a.m.
However, the low temperature at the NWS Chicago office at O’Hare near the south side of Arlington Heights only reached down to about 41°F.
The official low will be published later today or early Wednesday morning.
