Des Plaines police responded about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 to a report of a stolen automobile crime that just occurred at Wolf Road and Touhy Avenue in Des Plaines.
Des Plaines police received a report that a blue 2022 BMW X5 SUV was stolen and was last seen westbound on Touhy Avenue toward Mount Prospect where Touhy Avenue becomes Higgins Road.
There are two gas stations and two commercial buildings located at the four corners of the intersection where the automobile theft was reported.
