Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 1:19 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 to a report of a crash with injuries involving an SUV into a storefront in a strip mall at Coldwell Banker, 20 South Dunton Avenue in Arlington Heights.
Initially the call was reported to involve a possible entrapment, but there was no prolonged entrapment at the scene, and there were no significant injuries reported. One male driver was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
Firefighters and paramedics on arrival discovered significant damage to the storefront with serious damage to the brick base, a brick column, and window frame.
The Village of Arlington Heights Building Department responded immediately to begin work to inspect the building.
